Ross graduated from Glasgow University in 1995 and worked as an associate at Newyearfield Dental Centre shortly after it opened in 1996. He has worked as a Practice Principal over the last 15 years and enjoys bringing that experience back to Newyearfield. He has special interests in restorative dentistry as well as orthodontics or tooth straightening for both child and adult patients.

Ann qualified from Dundee University in 1998 and has been an associate dentist at Newyearfield Dental Centre for over 11 years. She and has dealt with many difficult cases with regards to improving the way in which patients can smile with greater confidence. This has involved her special interests in cosmetic and prosthetic dentistry for which she has attended many lectures on modern cosmetic techniques.

Claire qualified from Dundee University in 1998 and has been an associate dentist at Newyearfield for the past 7 years. Claire was previously involved with a large practice in Edinburgh over ten years. Claire has a special interest in restorative dentistry and has become involved in the Vocational Training movement where a younger practitioner is invited to operate from Newyearfield Dental Centre for a year long term to gain suitable experience within general practice.

Lindsay qualified from Glasgow University in 2010. Lindsay enjoys treating all patients but has a particular interest in treating children. Lindsay also enjoys carrying out cosmetic dentistry including smile makeover with crowns, bridgework, veneers and tooth whitening. Lindsay is looking to develop her skills in oral surgery and various different surgical techniques.

Philip graduated from the University of Glasgow with Degrees in Anatomy and Dental Surgery and has attained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons. He has exceptional skills and experience in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Philip has an excellent reputation in Edinburgh and Glasgow where he holds extensive patient lists in private referral practices. He has a strong commitment to continued education to ensure he is able to offer his patients an exceptional level of care. Philip is also involved in mentoring and lecturing to pass his knowledge on to other professionals.

John graduated from Queens University of Belfast, with a distinction in the practice of dentistry in 2001. John has worked in Scotland since 2001. Over the years John has pursued an intensive post graduate education completing and passing the required examinations and coursework to become a member of the joint dental faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England as well as a member of the faculty of dental surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Johns main area of interest is implant dentistry and he has completed the Royal College of Surgeons of England implant diploma course, this allows John to provide patients with predictable dental implant treatment.

More recently John has completed his fellowship examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Further to this John is lead tutor for the East of Scotland FGDP study group.

Katie is our specialist orthodontist. As a specialist she can fully utilise the latest tooth straightening techniques for the benefit of all ages – children and adults. Katie has been transforming smiles at Newyearfield since 2000. She is very experienced in fixed appliance treatment and can offer private alternatives such as invisible braces, clear ceramic braces and clear aligners. Katie ensures she keeps up-to-date with new techniques and, as a result, is certified to provide invisible Incognito lingual braces and Invisalign or Orthocaps aligners.
